You can return most products for a refund or credit within 30 days of delivery; however, all sales for pool tables and shuffleboard tables are final upon the mutual "release" and shipment of your pool table order from our facility. We do not release orders without verbal or written consent. Return shipping costs do apply to the customer as the customer is responsible for the return shipment and the item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted for a return to be accepted.

Yes. Imperial pool tables can be ordered with your choice of cloth color at no additional charge. We offer over 15 Championship cloth colors to help match your space and design preferences.

For customers seeking a premium tournament-style playing surface, we also offer a selection of 5 Simonis cloth colors for an additional charge.

Available cloth color options can be selected when configuring your table before checkout. If you have questions about cloth availability, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.

A standard 44” x 88” (8’) pool table needs a minimum of 42” around the playing field. Ideally, you should have at least 58” for a standard-sized cue.

The vast majority of pool tables in homes across America are 8' pool tables that feature a playfield of 88" x 44". Most coin-operated pool tables in bars or restaurants are 7' pool tables and most tournament sized pool tables are 9' pool tables. If you aren't sure about the size of a pool table, measure the size of the playfield, not the exterior dimensions. When measuring, measure from the tip of the cushion on the rail to the other side's respective cushion for the most accurate reading.

A pool table's weight differs based on its size and materials.

6-foot: Approx. 500 lbs
7-foot: 700-900 lbs
8-foot: 850-1,200 lbs
9-foot: 1,000-1,500 lbs
10-foot: Approx. 1,500 lbs
12-foot: Approx. 2,500 lbs

The different weights are important to consider for installation and safety.

The best way to brush your pool table is to stay in one direction. This will keep the nap of the cloth uniform. It is also okay to use a small handheld vacuum cleaner to help remove any chalk dust that has settled onto the slate bed. A lint roller is also a lifesaver for dark cloth colors or pet hair and is safe to use.

No; pool tables require professional technicians for assembly, deconstruction, or any movement within a home.

Generally, 10-15 years, although some cushion rubber lasts longer. If the pool table has seen direct sunlight, cushion life will be greatly reduced. We have also seen pool tables less than five years old that have “dead” cushions. It is unusual, but it happens. You can test your cushions by rolling a ball firmly against a cushion on the short side. It should make 3 or 4 cushion-to-cushion contacts before coming to rest. The telltale sign of a dead cushion is a “thud” noise on contact. Cushions should be quiet and lively.

There should be 32-36” between the bottom of the lamp and the cloth on the slate.

Remember that prevention is key. You should not eat or drink near your pool table. But, if you do find yourself in this situation, act quickly. Absorb as much liquid as possible with clean dry paper towels. The longer the liquid sits, the more it will stain the cloth. We offer billiard cloth embedded with Teflon to help you keep your pool table clean. This is a great preventative measure, but secondary to not setting your drink on the rail of your pool table.

A rug can be a great way to accent a pool table. However, it should be appropriately sized for the room and allow for proper positioning while playing the game. Using a comfortable shooting posture, both feet should be completely on or completely off the rug. An improperly sized rug can become a tripping hazard while a participant works their way around the table, which is no good!

Yes, all of our tables feature tournament-quality slate that is 1” thick. The slate is also backed with a wood border to help quiet the play and provide a surface that enables the installer to secure the felt more effectively.

No, to enable better machining, transportation, handling, and leveling of the table in your home, the slate surface is actually made of 3 separate pieces. Once the slate is secured to the table frame by the professional installer, he will fill the seam between the three pieces to create one solid, uninterrupted play surface, and it will essentially function like one large piece of slate.

Imperial pool tables use natural K66 Cushion Rubber on each rail for an authentic and even rebound during gameplay.

Professional installation is available for all Imperial pool tables and is performed by trained technicians to ensure proper assembly, leveling, and playability.

After your purchase is placed, an Imperial representative will contact you within two business days to begin coordinating delivery and installation. In some locations, additional installation or delivery fees may apply based on distance, accessibility, or other site-specific requirements. Any applicable charges will be communicated and approved before your table is released for shipment.

Air Hockey FAQs

A regulation-sized air hockey table is 8 feet in length and 6 feet wide. Most home tables are smaller though. The tables offered by Imperial are typically around 83” long and 43” wide, which makes them a better fit for peoples’ homes.

The cabinets of our air hockey tables are all pre-assembled. Minor assembly is otherwise required, which usually consists of attaching the base/legs to the cabinet.

Yes, it comes with four pucks and four mallets (or goalies).

The surface of an air hockey table has thousands of tiny holes. Powerful fans inside the cabinet of the table blow air through these holes and create an “air cushion” under the puck. This forces the puck hover slightly in the air and allows it to glide with very little friction.

Usually, our air hockey tables can be assembled within 30-45 minutes with 2 adults.

Foosball FAQs

Imperial’s foosball tables are typically around 73” wide (including rods being fully extended), 54.5” long, and 34” tall.

The cabinets of our foosball tables are pre-assembled. Minor assembly is otherwise required, which usually consists of attaching the legs or base to the cabinet as well as assembling the rods and players and attaching them to the cabinet

Yes, your table comes with 4 balls. Additional balls can be purchased if need be.

Not in a serious game. Spinning is one of the most common fouls in foosball. Spinning is defined as spinning the rods in a 360-degree rotation without touching the ball.

This means that the players are built to be able to stay still in whatever position you place them in. When the opposing team has the ball, you’ll want your players down to create extra blocking ability while on offense, you’ll want the players up to give you more passing and shooting lanes. Counter-balanced players are nice and are found on higher-end models of foosball tables.

Foosball was invented in Madrid, Spain in 1937. Remarkably, the original version is nearly identical to the game we know today.

Typically, our foosball tables can be assembled within 45-60 minutes with 2 adults. The longest portion of assembly is putting the players on the rods properly.
